The Glock G48 is a 9×19 mm single-stack striker-fired polymer frame semi-automatic with a standard 10+1 capacity from the newest generation (Gen 5) Glock. The G48 MOS (Modular Optic System), which features a slide pre-cut for red-dot sights but does not include them, comes in three flavors: all matte black, G48 Silver Slide with a silver slide mated to the otherwise black gun, and finally, the G48 MOS (Modular Optic System) with a slide pre-cut for red-dot sights but does not include them. Glock, of course, sells them separately or as part of a bundle with the G48 MOS.
Other Glocks, such as the double-stack 15+1 capacity G19 or the double-stack 17+1 standard capacity G45, are comparable to the G48. Aside from capacity, the G48 is thinner and lighter, making it more portable. glock 48 specs
The Slimline frame, Glock’s narrow marvel, lies at the center of it all. 6.85″ is the length of the slide. Only.87″ in width! The grips of the G48 are marginally wider, but they are still only 1.1″ wide. The overall length is 7.28″ and the height is 5.04″ with the magazine protruding slightly even when fully docked. new glock 48 mos
